The destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. was an event that Jesus predicted in Matthew 24. This prediction came after he rebuked and rejected the Pharisees brand of religion in Matthew 23. It was sad that God's people had not been faithful and that Jesus rejected them by leaving the temple forsaken. Today God's people need to remain faithful if they desire the kind of relationship that Jesus desires to have with them. John Davis from Beaumont, Texas presents this sermon.
