Costa Rica 2002

Our first day in Costa Rica was Saturday. Rusty Windle and I (Kevin Cauley) arrived in Costa Rica Saturday, September 21st, late in the evening. We met the Moises Umana family at the airport and then rode together to pick up our rental car at Avis. The airport was a very nice facility. I learned later that this facility had just recently been built. It was the equivalent of what we would consider to be a smaller regional airport in the United States. We hopped onto a bus that took us to the Avis rental car office and there we were able to obtain our vehicle for travel for the week. We had a Hyundai Galloper that ran on Diesel fuel. It was very economical. At the rental car office we got our first video pictures of the Moises family together.
