- Click to Listen to "Pattern for the Church". The New Testament provides a pattern for the church. There is a pattern for its 1) Establishment, 2) Organization, 3) Name, and 4) Mission. Those “churches” that do not conform to this pattern are not the church about which we read in the New Testament. Each listener should be able to explain how the New Testament contains a pattern for the church in its establishment, organization, name, and mission. I hope to help everyone see the importance of understanding the pattern for the New Testament Church, that we must follow this pattern as it is divine and authoritative in nature.

- Click to Listen to Conversion Accounts - Samaritans. The book of Acts teaches us how the apostles went into all the world preaching the gospel. We learn in this book how to become a Christian through the various conversion accounts that are therein. The Samaritans in Acts 8 are a great case study. In the conversion of the Samaritans, there was a 1) Proclamation, 2) Previous Practice, 3) Penitence and Profession, 4) Preservation. Let's study so that we would know what the Bible teaches regarding true conversion and faithfulness.

- Click to Listen to "The Hand That Was Wounded". The Psalmist prophesied that Jesus hands and feet would be pierced (Psalm 22). Those hands were wounded for our transgressions (Isaiah 53). We have a song titled, "The Hand That Was Wounded." Taking the thoughts of that song we taught that the hand that was wounded 1) Brought compassion, mercy, and forgiveness, 2) Bled for the sins of the world, 3) Broke the bondage of sin, 4) Binds us together in brotherhood. In studying these things I hope that each would appreciate what Jesus accomplished for us with his hands.

- Click to Listen to "Milk and Meat". In the physical world milk and meat do not contain major nutritional differences. The difference is in the ease of consumption and digestion. So also the milk and meat of God's word is not necessarily different in nutrition, but how it is consumed. We need to grow as Christians so that we can consume God's word as meat and not as milk. When considering milk and meat we notice 1) the content of milk an meat is similar, 2) the consistency of milk and meat are different, 3) the consumption of milk and meat is different as well. In studying these things I hope that we would know how to discern between spiritual milk and meat so that we may become spiritually mature as Christians.
