Taken In Adultery In this lesson we will study John 8:1-11. In this passage we have 1) The situation of death, 2) The sentence of death, 3) The stay from death, and we will look at some 4) Lessons learned. The objective of this lesson is to study this passage in its historical context and learn lessons from the text. The aim of this lesson is that each understand the story in its context and the lessons from it regarding mercy and opportunity for forgiveness.
