What does the New Testament have to say about tithing?
Thanks for your question.
The answer is absolutely nothing. The New Testament has no command to tithe (give one-tenth of one's income and property) such as was done in the Law of Moses (Lev.27:32). Christians are instead commanded to give a free-will offering as they have prospered ( 1 Corinthians 16:1, 2). You might also read 2 Corinthians chapters 8 and 9 as they contain a lot of material on the subject of giving as well.
